Enjoy fishing for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Muskie and
various species of Panfish from our fully tournament rigged 2005 Triton
Bass Boat. We prowl all the hot spots in search of the best fishing this
TVA reservoir has to offer.
Fontana Lake is 29 miles long, 11,700 acres of surface area, and
features 238 miles of shoreline. Fontana is a deep lake and some places
depths exceed 400 feet, making Fontana a cold lake indeed. This cold
water provides excellent habitat for some trophy sized Muskie, Walleye,
and Smallmouth. Trophy proportioned fish are caught each year!

Fontana Dam is itself an engineering marvel. Built to aid in the war
effort of World War II, construction of Fontana Dam began in 1942 and
was completed in 1944. Fontana Dam is the highest dam east of the Rocky
mountains. At a towering 480 feet tall and 2,365 feet long, the Dam is
truly a marvel to behold. |
Fontana Lake is one of the most picturesque lakes in all the
Southeastern Untied States. With the Great Smoky Mountains National
Park as a back drop, this has been one of the most photographed lakes
in the country. Movies such as Nell, The Fugitive, and Last of the
Mohicans were filmed here. Also the occasional Bald Eagle, Black
Bear, and Deer are spotted along the shorelines. So be sure to bring
your camera along with you when fishing with us.
