We pride ourselves in being flexible with what our clientele want. We are more than happy to custom tailor your trip to better suit your needs, just let us know. We offer several different packages from a beginning angler class, to overnight back country destinations, and anything in between. So if you have something you would like to do in mind, give us a call and we will be happy to work out all the details. We do supply all leaders, tippet, and flies at no additional charge. Lunches are provided on the longer all day wade trips and float trips.

The Beginning Angler Class is tailored for the person or persons, who have never been exposed to the beautiful sport of Flyfishing. This is by far the best deal in fly fishing! The trip is around five hours long and is very informative. We teach you everything from rigging up a fly rod and reel, casting instruction, reading the water and figuring out what the trout eat, to landing your first mountain trout, and then setting him free to be caught and enjoyed another day. Drinks and snacks are provided. Price for the beginning angler trip is $150.00 and $50.00 each addition angler up to three total.

Half Day wade trips can range from your choice of most waters in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Nantahala, the Tuckaseigee, or the Oconoluftee. We can also take you to some of the small area streams in this time frame. Half day trips are generally four to five hours long. Drinks and snacks are provided. Price for a half day trip is $150.00 and $50.00 each additional angler up to three total.

The All Day wade trips range from any of the streams located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the newly designated Brook Trout waters, to the Nantahala, Tuckaseigee, Oconoluftee, Cullasaja, and the Little Tennessee. Within this time frame you can also fish more than one water shed. For instance a trip in the morning to the Nantahala, and finish up on the Little Tennessee. Lunch is included. Pricing for the all day wade trips is $225.00 and $75.00 for each additional angler up to three total.

There is about a forty five minute drive to the boat ramp and then the shuttle ride down Lake Fontana in one of our boats.

Our Half Day Float Trips can include a trip down either the upper portion of the Tuckaseigee River fishing the Delayed Harvest section, to a float through the lower section casting for Rainbow Trout, and Smallmouth Bass. Half Day float trips usually last five hours and we provide drinks and snacks. Pricing is $275.00 per boat.

For the ultimate Smoky Mountain Flyfishing adventure, we do offer Overnight Back Country Trips to Hazel Creek, Eagle Creek, Forney Creek, Noland Creek, and Deep Creek. This is best way to get the most enjoyment out of flyfishing the Great Smoky Mountains. We venture in to remote locations within the park, and set up camp at one the back country camp sites. We then proceed to fish until dark thirty. Your guides will then fix a nice meal, possibly of freshly caught trout that you caught. You can relax by the fire and we’ll tell stories and lies to way into the night. After breakfast the next morning, we hit the creeks and do it all over again. This is the pinnacle of Flyfishing in the Smokies. For safety reasons and convenience, two guides will accommodate you and your party on these remote destinations. Please contact us 45 days in advance for availability. Back Country Trips  $450 per person per day 1-2 people. $375 per person per day for 3 or more people. Back Country Trips are available year round.

We also offer Group or Corporate Wade Trips that are custom tailored to suit your needs to any of our fine destinations. This can range from Beginner Classes all the way to Float Trips and Back Country Camping. Just call and we will work together to accommodate your needs.

Our guides work hard to put you on to fish and to make your day as memorable as possible, tipping is not required, but is greatly appreciated.

Reservations

Reservations are recommended as dates fill up quickly.  A 50% deposit will confirm your trip date and number of guides.  We will gladly refund your deposit if you cancel your date 15 days in advance.  If it is 14 days or less before your trip date we will apply the deposit to a trip date later in the season but your deposit will not be refunded.  Here in the Great Smoky Mountains the weather can be unpredictable. Inclement weather does not result in the cancellation of your trip as it can often provide for excellent fishing.  We will be glad to reschedule your trip if there is lightning or the river conditions are unfishable. Refunds will only be made if the unfavorable conditions occur on the final day of your visit to the area.  Receipt of your deposit acknowledges that the registrant accepts our cancellation and refund policy.

Payment

We gladly accept Visa and Mastercard, as well as personal check, certified check or money order.

Our flat trips are charged per boat.  Boats can carry two anglers and one guide.  Our walking and wading trips take place primarily within 45 minutes of our shop, however, arrangements can be made for the guide to meet the angler elsewhere.  If you plan on fishing off the reservation you will need to obtain a North Carolina fishing license.  For fishing in the national park a NC or TN license is valid.  Full day trips include lunches.  If you have any specific dietary considerations please let us know at the time of booking.  All equipment is provided, at the time of reservation please specify your size requirements or let us know if you will be providing your own gear.
